If you like reloading a shotgun, go play 3gun.
Some people really like USPSA, and I like it just fine as well as the occasional IDPA social day, but to me, 2gun at CORE is about as good as shooting sports get.

It was a lot of fun to see the guys.
As far as shooting, as always, I learned a lot: Don't expect to hit 350 with a shaky 50 yard zero (rookie mistake, I should've known better) , the suppressor gets REALLY hot (dont touch it), you need to get closer than cap brim length from a magnifier to be in the eye box, and pistol shooting is easy in comparison. Lol.
I got my zero dialed in by the end of the day, adjusting after each stage, but in this stage, I was 2 moa high, so it made it easy to shoot over the steel. Oh, and feel free to laugh at me burning my hand. Dumbass! Lol.
