If that was a .45 I would pay 650.00 for it. I bought my dad one in stainless for that yesterday..not sure about .380 though...either way awesome gun man! I would blindly offer at least 500...

I think I was told that the last year of production for the 380 was like 96 or 97. I could be wrong though.

Mac is right. Go to Gunbroker,Guns America,Auction Arms and some others to get a fair compairason.

Important is: like condition, how old is the post, and to remember the price you see is the asking price and not necessarily the price that the weapon sold for.

I would guess that the price for the above weapon is a little high. My guess is that the selling price will be about $525-$575. --- SAWMAN

Is this a larger variant of the mustang platform? Looks just like the sig238's with a little extra meat.

to my understanding it is similar to the mustang and the pocket lite. I can say it is a great shooter. I got this in part of a trade for my sub 2000. It felt super in my hand so i went with it befor doing any research.

I've got a .380 Gov't and a .380 Mustang, both stainless PocketLite models. The Mustang is my daily carry gun. They both shoot very well and, due to having a locked breech, have very little recoil. The Mustang is back in production and I recommend them very highly. A friend of mine had one just like yours a few years back and he said that it shot very well. He only sold it because he decided that he preferred a revolver.
