Both trimmers work well. The trimmers are very similar in appearance and operation and seem to use the same pilots and shell holders. I believe Hornady bought out Pacific.

The Hornady trimmer is $30

The Pacific trimmer is $25

The base of the Pacific is flat and even. The cloth bunched up on the right side of the base making it appear uneven.
