I'm new to the AR platform and not quite sure about all of the designations. Is a H buffer the same as an H1? I get that there are weight differences beyween H0, H1, H2 etc. but the tech at Noveske tells me I need a H1 buffer with a carbine spring for my build and I'd like to get the right parts the first time and not bust the bank.

I have the A5 and its pricey. It does work with every system from rifle length gas systems to SBRs. It does a good job reducing bolt bounce too. I really like using it on a rifle length gas systems since it provides the consistency and soft recoil that a A2 stock offers (when the bolt returns to battery) in a collapsible stock.
