Bolt Carrier

Looking at purchasing a couple of AR-15 BCGs. If I buy a lefty "bolt carrier w/ key", will any AR-15 "assembled bolt" work in them or do they actually make lefty vs. righty "assembled bolt"? Additionally, what if I was to buy one without the gas key, will any mil spec gas key work on any bolt carrier as well?

It should, just the LH bolt will have the ejector on left side opposed to the right.

That's correct, I wanted left handed BCGs that will eject the brass out the left.

I've never had one, but looking at zoomed pics of both, they are different, proprietary Left hand and Right hand. So a RH carrier will not work in a LH upper,
* nor will a LH Bolt work in a RH carrier.
So you'll need LH upper and LH BCG, barrel will work with either, as well as the lower.
