Beretta 92fs threaded barrel on 92X Centurion??

Thoughts on using a threaded 92fs barrel on a 92X Centurion. I do realize it would be longer and look a bit odd but beyond that is beyond my pay grade.

I have a 92fs threaded barrel and yes, it will fit the 92X Centurion but is longer, as expected. I do not have a Centurion length threaded barrel and wondered if the 92fs threaded barrel and the Centurion itself would function properly on the Centurion. In the future if I were to get a suppressor would that function properly as well? I asked 2 suppressor manufacturer/retailers and they said they did not know as they had not tried.

You could get the barrel cut and rethreaded for the length needed. Its only .2in longer so it might not be that big of a deal. I was looking up the length difference and its 5in for full and 4.8in for compact/centurion
