These worked great, but not for what I needed. (Both users need to be outside) - You can look at them on the website www.beartooth.com to figure out what they do and how they work. Basically these turn your smart phone into a two way radio that allows voice, text, and even sending your GPS location to the other unit.
I used them twice and they have been in the box since Sept. 2017. - basically brand new. Looks like they still sell and support them. Regular price is $249 for the pair and I'll sell these (2) for $75. These are about 5 yrs old and ive forgot most of what I knew about them. Should be worth $75 to tinker with and they are great reserve/backup phone batteries.
