I went into Precision Tactical the other day for the first time. Wasnt a fan. Glad I didnt buy anything, too damn expensive anyway.

If your friend paid with a card have him try and dispute the charge with his CC company.

This is unfortunate, I've shot with most of the guys from there and they've always been cool. If I wasn't in P'cola I would've done business with em.

You know, PT uses Seekins Precision recievers... I think next time your friend should just save some money, while also getting a rifle built by someone who stands behind their product, and buy a Seekins.

I see things like this and recall that I bought an AR-10 T, Armalite green gun, with a 308 set reticle scope, national match all the way, adjustable gas block, etc., for $1,400. It shot 1.5 inches for me at 500 meters. I sold it without the scope for $1,700. Then I had a 308 RRA Operator offered to me at the B'ham show for $1,500, less than 100 rounds through it. Why in hell would anyone buy a parts gun for $3K..........

If you ask me the first thing that comes to mind for a $3k .308 rifle, I'd say SCAR 17s in .308, FDE, and a LaRue OBR 7.62. But hey! it's a free country!

He spent right at $2700 for his headache/Rifle and theres no way I would of spent that kind of money on any AR. I could have had a good benchrest rifle for that

Other than the cutesy two tone Cerakote and sandpaper finish, I've always wondered what exactly they bring to the table. For that kind of money, you can have a Wilson, Armalite, SCAR 17 or LWRC, just to name a few.
