    Behind enemy lines!
Seems a solution in search of a problem. If one has to lean that hard on the diameter (9mm) at the expense of an increase in pressure, gun wear, recoil, etc., why not just step up in diameter to a bigger bullet?

I'm getting closer to a 10mm...however, I'm really interested in the Springfield XD M Elite 10mm.
I have a G19, but I hate Glock grips. The XDM just fits.

Had a snubby 357 that didn't bother me so I doubt the 10mm would be an issue.

Thanks for those details. I was interested in the ammo chosen and the chest rig
I was referring to the bigger revolvers when I talked about recoil. (454 Casull, 480 Ruger).
The Glock 20 was a joy to shoot. I didn’t notice much more recoil than a G19.

The factory LONG barrels G40 is a good option. The older Norma ammunition for 10mm was everything a 41 Remington Magnum handgun was IMHO. Modern 10mm ammo is really a 40 Short and Weak today unless you specifically get hunting ammunition.

The 357Sig is a deep penetrator too in a G17 size that carries well.
