They have bags of 50 rounds for 2.89 per bag, limit one per customer.

I've never seen a "bag" of .22 LR. They must've split up a bulk pack.

That's what I figured. Gotta make that money! But that's really not a bad price these days.

I'm guessing the got a bulk box or two and split them up to help more customers?!

They told me they did that a few years back for some harder to get handgun calibers basicly allowing several customers to buy a mags worth

Not really a bad thing, allows the business to serve more customers. I see it as a good thing personally. I agree with stockpiling ammunition, but during the crunch we are having, spreading the wealth might make people less eager to buy a whole store out. Probably not though.
