I asked my professor to cut some jerky strips from the last doe I shot but somehow in the confusion of having someone else drop it off for me it got overlooked. May have to open a package of backstrap and make some. Yall got me craving now!

Bullwinkle, well his little brother. We've seen bigger on the cam.
DRT. 1 or 2 kicks. (Dirt) High shoulder shot you can just see the entry foward,, above of the front of the rifle stock. Exited lower due to I'm 15 feet in the air about a 100 yard shot.
Using those dang "target" hornady black 308. Again the copper jacket was caught in the skin on the exit side. Bullet blew up just like last time. I may be on to something. Massive internal damage. So stoked!! WooohooWoo-hoo!!!

That Browning made Winchester is getting it done. Using the Leupold firedot 3x9 set on 3 Just how I do it. I like to see around don't normally use a lot of magnification. Had 3 does come in playing queen of the corn pile. Jostling and darting around. Then heard the grunt. He ran em out and went to eat, lights out, get in the cooler! Beautiful buck. Can only get 1 more, have to hold out for Bullwinkle. 5 days left.

My last one till November. 3-3 DRT with the hornady black 308 target round. Literally none took one step. 120 yards. No jacket found in skin, massive damage. I think I found a new deer hunting round. Medium sized doe, not the Berthawinkle I passed on the other day. Duh.
Now off the day shift and on the night shift for yotes, pests and maybe a hog.
