    Ha...like leaving a pile of raccoons in a pantry full of snacks. Nothing but trash and piles of coon scat for Tennjeep and JohnAL. Haha

    Yes, I think generally, kind of a thankless job. People only complain when the power is out. They dont send in kind words of thanks when he's worked all night to make sure that it doesn't go out :)

    Filled-up on gas this morning en route to the grocery store. On the way home less than 30 minutes later I saw gas prices had jumped up 5 cents/gal. "They" say it could rise 15-20 cents.

    Up to .75 cents I would not be mad. I the 1.00 to 2.00 jump thats going to be bad. It goes up quick but it will be after hunting season before it comes back to where it should be,If ever.

    Amen to that. Pretty sure between Houston being shut down, the total outage count not being insanely high, and the other system moving off the east coast they just kept us here. Looks like Harvey is going to give us some action throughout the week here anyway.

    Yes, this is a few months old but...I started trying out cold brew coffee. I'm not a fan of iced or even cold coffee but the concentrated version is excellent. Trying my hand at some "homebrew" now.

    Yea the concentrated kind if really good. There are a few coffee shops here that make cold brew. I need to try them out.
