Added another AR to the collection today, thanks to Dan1612. I now have a LE6920 Colt M4 Carbine and he now has a nice Kimber Desert Warrior. I am now up to 28 ARs and counting. Now, I just need to add some KAC rail panels and a new Aimpoint Carbine Optic (ACO) or an Aimpoint Patrol Rifle Optic (PRO).

shot IDPA in the morning, then went home and sold my 1911. Also picked up a customer's gun to get started on another holster. Tried to make a few single mag carriers so I could post them up for sale, but damn if I didn't sell them all before I could finish them! Not a bad problem to have.....lol

The ACO has 1/3 the battery life of the PRO, it has no NVG settings and there is only $23 price difference. Probably $10 of that $23 is eaten up with the flip covers you get with the PRO.
I'm not saying the ACO is junk, just that you lose a fair amount for only a $23 savings.

    $440
I am curious as to what they will actually sell for on the market. The Aimpoint PRO MSRP is $440, but they usually sell for $409-$416. On sale, you can buy them for around $350-$375, but you have to catch them right when the sale comes out and you never know who it is that has that sale. I was looking around last night and found one for $409 shipped. That is a pretty good deal. With the ACO having a MSRP of $393, I suspect it will more than likely retail for around $359 to $365. Eventually, I would speculate seeing them on sale for around $315 to $330. These prices would make it more appealing to buy versus the PRO. At this point, we just have to wait and see. Optics Planet is sellinf them for retail right now, but that is because it just has come out. They sell the PRO for $416. Of course, the PRO has been out for three years now. Like I said before, I think once the ACO has been out for a while, the price will come down. Until then, the PRO will be the better buy. As a matter of fact, I located someone who has a new one they are trying to sell for $365 shipped on another website. I am working on getting it from him.

Oh and plus I'm back down below 200lbs. Actually 197, got weighed today for PT test. Lost 16lbs in 3 weeks. I'll be on this diet for another 2-3 weeks. Looking to get back down to 175-180. Started at 213.

That is great news. I have been on my diet since May 5th and I have gone from 290 lbs to 220 lbs to date. Working my way to 200 before the end of the year.

On another note, I scored the Aimpoint PRO I was talking about for $350. It even comes with the Aimpoint cover. It should be here around Friday or Saturday. Coming all the way from CA.

What's this diet Doc? I was just texting Gordon about losing weight. I'm 6'2" 250lbs, 220 is about perfect to me. Not too far, just gotta get on it.

after the troubles I have had with the Chiappa .22lr upper lately, and them saying I have no warranty (thanks...DICKS!:violin:), I ordered the Tac-Com reliability kit hoping to restore the use of the .22lr bolt.

If that doesnt work I've found a few other "things" to try up to and including using a ball point pen spring for the firing pin spring :flame:
Also can try a hi powered trigger spring (Im using a mil-spec trigger group including springs in an NFA lower)

No, I do not. Unless, you find these attractive:

Sorry never got back to you, not a fan of the wrap arounds all too much so I'll have to pass. If you want them then shoot me a offer, I'll take cash or some of those smooth .40 loads you were talking to me about that afternoon at the range.

Got a call from tac-com this morning. Their parts kit won't work with the chiappa bolt... Nor will their bolt work in the chiappa upper. *sigh
