Spent 4 hours at range over 3 trips and finally solved my AR shortstroke issue. Between adding weight to the light buffer, getting rid of the under pressure rounds and a BCG that likes to be covered in pig fat, it now cycles correctly and locks back when empty. Also had to file a little off the front sight post to get the POA correct. Proceeded to put 20 rounds in a 2" square at 25 yards which is amazing since I can barely see the square.

    I'm a happy camper now....
That's awesome. What BCH are you using?
Trying to figure out issues like that is a pain. I though my pistol was going to give me hell after reading the troubles people have with 7.5in barrels. But to my surprise it runs perfect from the first shot. Just a little loud though.

Got the wife out in the backyard for some target practice, she finally tried the extra mags for her CZ52 I picked up from Trader Dan, they worked like a charm in it. She still is pretty accurate with the CZ and my PT92 but had problems with the P85 and the HP22A. All in all we had a fun afternoon, Loving Life.

It's a Palmetto BCG. I have to get used to the fact that ARs apparently like a lot of lube unlike all of my other firearms.

No shooting but I did go to Three Brothers Arms in Stapleton, AL and ate three plates of Low Country Boil and fried shrimp at their member appreciation shrimp fest.

Damn,I didn't know that was going on. I almost went up there to shoot and instead tore the Turaus down about 3 times just for the fun of it.

Shot the GSSF in Mobile today. A little disappointed that the G41 seriously limits the divisions I can shoot in. Perhaps I will look at getting a G17. Action Pistol shooting is very addictive!

Had a great time shooting IDPA this morning with a lot of the usual suspects and a few new(ish) faces. We were missing some of the regulars, though.

I'm working on editing videos now. Hopefully I'll have quite a few uploaded to Youtube by the time I go to bed tonight.

Been working on cleaning all the grease off of a spectacular Springfield 1903 that I picked up from a forum member last weekend, cant wait to get it all cleaned off and put back together.

Modified the mags on my Hi Point JCP .40 cal. Can now successfully cycle 8 dummy rounds without jamming.

John,I don't do Face Book. SO would you text me or give me a call when something like that is going on. I was up there last week and didn't notice any thing about it posted. The guy I usuall talk there must have had the day off because I didn't see him.

I shot IDPA today also and you would think it was my first day, Didn't get a shell loaded in the chamber when I was topping off and of course it made one of the loudest sounds in the world when the buzzer went off. Then I DROP A MAG ON THE MAGE CHANGE ON ONE STRING.. Then a shell stopped half way into the chamber. Finally had a failure in the 1911.

Now for the good news, Shot one string with O down..Yep EE

I did not shoot IDPA today. Didn't get any sleep last night, so I couldn't get up in time. The joys of parenthood! However, the boss has cancelled the Baton Rouge trip, so I'll do the carbine race on Saturday Whoo Hoo!
I did get to see a couple of old friends and trade a couple of guns today.

First video has been uploading for over an hour and it only just over halfway done. Everyone in the neighborhood must be on the internet this afternoon.
