My name is Rob, or Walt, whatever you prefer. I'm very old, started hunting as a young kid in about 1955, gave it up except for boar when I moved to CA in 1973, been in FL since about 2005, live in Gainesville. Love guns but shoot too seldom. Can't hit a barn with a handgun but am decent with a rifle and like everybody, death with a shotgun. Do a little trading so I was glad to discover this site. Will put up a couple buy and sell ads when I figure out how to. Hello to all.

Welcome to the forum. I'll show you "old." I lived in Gainesville when it was named Hogtown. We took the ferry from Rocky Point to the south shore of Alachua Lake to get to Micanopy. The late Harry Beckwith was just a young man...but I did buy some guns from his store.
