Yellowstone closes Biscuit Basin for the season after hydrothermal explosion

A hydrothermal explosion Tuesday launched boiling water and debris high into the air, and smaller explosions could occur for the next few months, officials said.

I'm glad it didn't happen while we were there a couple of months ago in May while my was the opposite saying she could of grabbed a couple of the rocks it spewed out if we had been there. Dang woman is crazy for sure!
