New, used. I have cash but could let go of some ammo or a firearm if I have what you needed.

Home Depot has a 50 amp Amico Brand. I've read a lot of really good reviews on. It's spec chart says it will cut 3/4 inch plate.
Check it out on YouTube. I'm definitely going to get one for myself, and it's only $329.00

I have a friend said he was going to bring over a miller spectrum 375 for me to use and I could borrow it whenever I wanted. Now that's a great offer, but I still like having my own stuff.
The miller is a 1500 dollar unit. Out of my league.

You can watch the reviews on YouTube. I have to say that it impressed me enough that I'm definitely getting one. I'll probably go ahead and get the 60 amp model. Better to have too much than not enough.

I haven't but it's on my list. Actually looked into their dual purpose machines. Plasma and tig for 479. Looks like either is hard to beat. Waiting to see if there are any black friday deals.

One review I haven't seen on the amico is using templates.
There are negative reviews on the eastwood machines tips not being friendly for templates.

I'm getting ready to purchase one myself, was just wondering if you had bought yours yet and how you like it, or what the drawbacks might be. Haven't considered buying a dual purposes but probably something I should look into, thanks for the idea.

FWIW, I have an Amico inverter DC welder 120v/240v and I love it! Coming from a big heavy Lincoln 225 this Amico welds even better than the old Lincoln! Good luck!
