I have everything to build uppers and lowers, but I am in Pensacola.

I even have my fifteen minutes of fame by being in Special Weapons for Military and Police August 2008's issue for my SBR project.

If I can help let me know. I am off this next weekend.

OK Got the Pistol from Smitty today, once again, thanks for the build!! Thank all of you too, got the BAD and Sling added with everything donated in one pic!! That is my famous tennis ball on the end and the cleaning rod and jags, with the cap the Butt Head would not fit so I will give him any spare parts and he can decide what fits him right. All I need now is to function test and present, more pics to come..

OK home now from shooting the new pistol, the ejector we used would not grab the bullet at all(a superbolt), I put my superbolt, actually the BCG in the WW gun and it ejected properly a couple of times. But then as it did I believe it short stroked is what you call it and caught a casing in the BCG as it tried to load another...so 2 issues. Is the 2nd related to the buffer and spring?

I brought the weapon home to trouble shoot but here is when I gave it to the WW:

Are you sure it's short cycling or is it cycling too fast?

There are a few things you can try:

First, add an o-ring to the extractor spring.

Second, try replacing the standard buffer with a heavy buffer.

Third, check the alignment of the gas block.

Fourth, open up the gas port to .070"

There are probably other options, but those are the ones that come to mind.
