Where is this? I lived in Granbury for several years and one of our friends out there said he’d guess they had 6-8 inches on the ground. This was last night.

Went thru there years ago, got a ballcap with Cut and Shoot, Texas. Think it had a saloon in background. Wished I still had it. :(

I used to travel down that way pretty regularly going to Houston. Take back roads from Granbury down to Waco, hwy 6 from Waco down to, I think it was 290, and 290 into West Houston. Some beautiful country and fine folks. Likely would have retired to Granbury but the kids and grandkids are here so we came back home.

My sister lives in Allen, TX just north of Dallas where yesterday she received the dreaded notice...

"At the request of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, CoServ has initiated controlled, temporary interruptions of electric service called rotating outages to reduce demand and ensure the electric grid’s stability. These outages typically last 15 to 25 minutes".

I think it would really suck to reliably pay your bill on time and yet still have to go through something like this, even if it is for the greater good.
