I'm offering a box of CCI .22 Maxi-Mag (50 rounds) and a broken box of Blaser .38 Special (45 rounds) ammo for sale as I have no need for either.

The thing is, I bought the CCI rounds online. And of course they look cheaper because no sales tax and less overhead. But you factor in the shipping costs, you pay more for these than if you bought them in a local store. The shipping costs there are soaked up as part of the overhead.

None the less, I want to recover my costs. So they go for what I need to sell them for. Or maybe I will use them in trade when the dollar collapses, That's coming you know.

Why does the Stock Market look so hot? Even rising to new highs? Because dollars are cheap, and it takes more of them to buy things, or to just get by. Today's dollar is worth less than 2 cents compared to its value in 1900 You think that cowboys had it rough only earning about $30 a month? That cowboy was given a bunkhouse to live in, a bed however shabby, a horse to ride, and certain duties and to do as he was told, but he had no retirement, no medical, and might have no job during the winter months. His $30 a month might work up to the low income of maybe $1,000 a month today at best. But you did not have minimum wage standards either, and his food and bunkbed were at no added charge, and he did not pay taxes, unemployment, social security, union dues, or put money into medical care, so his money went further.

Point is, the government keeps slashing away at the money coming in on the promise of someday giving something back, as the money declines in value by the fact that it is more and more a kind of I.O.U that never pays off, the value plummets. When the plummeting is over decades, it is less evident. But when the rate increases to being monthly, it is hard to miss. And you cannot believe the government's experts efforts to give you the facts, they are there to serve the Administration and will always color the facts to make it agree with the government in power's position. It's been said that you can make statistics agree with any point of view, and this has been proven over and over again. Look at the numbers about inflation and unemployment as examples.

The government lies mostly when it is in the wrong on things, but it does not change its ways, so it it is wrong, things will only get worse.

Yes, the militia needs to seize the printing presses before the 545 idiots bankrupting the country finish the job completely. The more they print the less each one is worth.

Trade paper for metal now, while you still can.

Again, what is this thread about? Is it about ammo for sale? How much a cowboy made? The point that the govt slashes dollars? The coming of the collapse of the dollar? Or that the govt lies?

Certainly all the above. By separating facts into categories and then just dealing with that category, politicians seek to persuade you to their point of view and get you to support them. Pull some of the facts back into a group, and people are confused because they don't see your point the way a politician works it. Cowboy pay from the 1800s is worked forward just to give people an idea of how much the dollar has declined in the last couple of hundred years, then I merely suggest you see how fast it is falling in value right now rather than for me to work out the answer for you. As to how fast it is falling now, it comes down to whom you are going to believe? A politician? A government agency swayed by the politicians in control? Or an independent person or agency that lumps things together again and takes more into account than the government wants you to be aware of?

THE STOCK MARKET HAS BEEN ON A BIG HIGH FOR TWO WEEKS. THE PROFIT TAKERS WILL GUT IT SOON AND THE WORSE CRASH SINCE 9/11 IS COMING WITHIN 45 DAYS, 60 DAYS MAX. WHY YOU ASK? BECAUSE THE GOV WANT MORE SPENDING AND TAXING POWER. WHEN MARKETS GO BUST ALONG WITH 401Ks: PEOPLE WILL SCREAM ABOUT THE LOSS AND OBALAMA AND THE DEMS WILL FRONT NEW "PROGRAMS TO HELP, AND THEREFORE JUSTIFY MORE TAXES AND THE REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH. WHILE THIS IS ON THE FRONT PAGE THEY WILL WORK THE BACK DOOR TO PLACE ALL THE GUN RESTRICTIONS THEY WANT.

YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST. Prep and see, don't wait and see!

i can't speak to the timeline you cite, but the other aspects of your post are deemed correct, as they conform to what many non-leftist have perceived as being the way the liberals and social democrats want to go. They want to wipe out personal wealth and private enterprise and put in a socialist form of government. Look at the failures of extreme socialism that have taken place in Europe during the last century and realize that is the roadmap they have laid down for America.

Well, the worst crash wasn't on 9/11( actually it picked up 'cause we went to war) , it was in late '08 and into '09, when the housing bubble burst and the Ponzi schemes were uncovered, but the thing is, the market can go up and go down and the only folks that cares is investors and speculators. Gas and food prices go up and still we pay because we need to go on with our meager lives. Politicians still lie and govt still grows and we still march on. Ammo is expensive because it's scarce, it's scarce because the govt is buying it up. The dollar is shrinking because we're printing money that we can't back, but still we drudge along.. There's a reason for everything, but our economy will go on, time marches on, the Earth keeps spinning. The Liberal left is doing what they feel in their heart is the right thing to do and the Right is fighting them tooth and nail. Ok,,,so?

More people are on welfare, food stamps, and drawing unemployment for longer periods than ever before. Not counting those that aren't looking for work any more or who are working at jobs below their abilities. This is not the road to progress. Jobs that have been replaced by automatic machines, eliminated as unnecessary, or work that has moved out of country is not coming back under any circumstances. Higher learning centers are just now grappling with the idea of teaching real skills that businesses and industry are clammering for, but this will date jobs even more in the future as people expect to get trained properly to their new responsibilities before they begin work.

Anybody that thinks economies just somehow go on and on under their own steam do not understand what a force against growth that governments can be. You can tax and regulate business to death, and you can create an environment where free enterprise cannot work, except as part of a Black Market scheme. In other words, as in China and some other Asian nations, you can pirate what others make and sell it outside the legal bounds, and even that can crush some legitimate businesses.

Ammo is scarce mostly because there are people dead set on stopping the production and sale of it if they can. That forces everybody else to get what they can while they can, and we end up with high demand and exhausted supplies just as we are experiencing now. Homeland Security is not attached to the Military, so if they are ordering up huge stockpiles of ammo and tanks, who do you think they are planning to use them against? It's not so much what we see happening now as it is what are they preparing for next?
