This old house is 29 years old now, my son killed his first deer a 5 point out of it 21 years ago , I’ve just taken it down to refurb it. The house sat up 12’ high on posts up until two weeks ago, hadn’t been sat it in last 4 years. So I go out and take it down and bring it home, welded up a trailer frame and she will be getting a new coat of lipstick and see action again in the form of a mobile shooting house. I bet it will hold up a few more years

I’ve got several more shooting houses that are 22 years old and still in good shape and regularly used. Two I’ve built out of grain bins that will last probably forever, I’ll have to get some pics of them this weekend and post back here

29 year old shooting house ready for action again once the paint smell dissipates. Old house just wasn’t stable enough in my opinion to put back up 12’ high again. So opted for a trailer frame to put it on for mobility. Lots of memories made in this little shack, my son killed his first buck out of it many many moons ago, and I killed my first deer with a 7mm-08 Thompson Encore “pistol” out of it that ended up making me a pistolero later on. There’s just something about the use of a good pistol to deer hunt with, got 7 pistols now that get carried regularly to the woods. The Thompson Encore pistol, four Thompson Contender pistols, and two Ruger Super Blackhawk pistols. It’s an addiction. This old house will last another ten years I believe, once deer season goes out I’ll park it under one of the pole barns to keep her high and dry
Note: when I set it up in the woods it will get brushed in so that trailer is not visible.

This is a 1970 model horse trailer that we converted into a shooting the house. The power company here will not allow any permanent structures on the power line right-of-way , but if it's got wheels you can park it anywhere

Does that have heating/air, bathroom, satellite tv, and a stove?

that could be one tricked out deer stand.

(yes- I know of tree stands with that stuff at some clubs)

Got several grain bins we made shooting houses out of 22-23 years ago. They are really spacious inside , will last forever, can put the whole family in one if you want too, lol. Only draw back is they are too hot to sit in on warm days. Killed lots of deer out of them.

Sitting in one of the big tall grain bins this afternoon, only two seen so far and they came out 5 minutes after I sit down, in the 22 years this grain bin has been here I’ve killed several good bucks out of it
