For Sale ---> Weatherby MKV Accumark chambered in .30-378Wby Mag. This gun will come very close to shooting any bullet 1000fps faster than a .308Win. It really shines with bullets >190gr,especially the 220's. I have shot groups of 10.5 inches at 1000yds with this gun and it is easily MOA out to 700yds. It has a 28" stainless fluted bbl with Accubrake that is removeable. It comes with the removal tool and the stainless, screw on, thread protector. This weapon has the recoil of a medium loaded .30-'06(seriously).

Dies and shell holder go with the weapon. Powder,primers(Fed215)and bullets will be made available. You can reload for this weapon for LESS than 308 factory ammo would cost. The weapon comes with a Leupold Long Range 8.5-25X50 scope with target turrets. It also has side focus. Butler Creek scope caps are installed. A Warne one piece steel base is installed and the scope sits in Warne heavy duty rings.

    Along with this weapon comes:
    65 pieces of empty brass(Wby brand)w/ Fed 215 primers
    32 rds of loaded ammo
    4 MTM brand ammo carriers
Read about this gun on line...the bbl...the stock...trigger,etc. Extremely impressive weapon. This weapon can be reloaded for LESS than a 308Win hunting load would cost.
NO tire kickers. Serious inquiries ONLY. Most happy to have a serious buyer take a look. Condition of weapon and scope is 99%+.
See post #15 and #20 for more pics. This weapon is basically 200fps FASTER than the Lapua.

Please respond by PM ONLY. $2450. Cash only. FTF in Cantonment ---- SAWMAN
EDIT TO ADD: I will gladly accept 4 monthly payments for this fine weapon. [NO INTEREST CHARGED] PM me for details. Thanks
EDIT ---> This weapon has been sold

Thank you for the bump reminder. Hopefully it will end up in order of the power levels produced and point blank range available to the owner/shooter. --- SAWMAN

:bump2: Check out the ballistics of the 30-378 Wby Mag. The 220gr bullets are so ballistically superior that they do not follow the curvature of the earth. When fired, they actually will leave the earths atmosphere. NO SHIT !! --- SAWMAN

A great long range gun with a brake that ACTUALLY works. Recoil is kin to a 308Win. Serious potential buyers can come out to my club and shoot it. ----SAWMAN

I have a 300 RUM with a JP Enterprises recoil eliminator. I said the same thing about it. I would like to shoot the 30-378.

If your JP model is the "Tank" type brake they are extremely efficient. I had one on a 24" AR some time ago. I have also shot a 416Rigby with that brake installed and the recoil was similar to a 30-'06. --- SAWMAN

I reload for this gun and am offering up everything for the reloader to produce quality ammo for approximately $1.50 -- $1.80 per shot. Bullets are the same as any .308" gun,all the brass you will ever need will be supplied with the sale, and tons of the slow burning powder will be made available at an additional cost of $25.00 per pound. This chambering burns from 118 to 122grs(~) of the super slow powder so the powder cost would be right up there if the buyer chooses to get his from another source. Federal 215 primers will be made available to the buyer also.

The bbl was moly coated before a single shot was ever fired and the throat wear is all but non existent. This weapon has NEVER had a single factory rd fired thru it.

    Pic is of a .30-378Wby Mag,220gr SMK and a 308Win, 190gr SMK. --- SAWMAN

Saw, I love this gun and wish the CO of HOMELANT would give me clearance for purchase. Would give $50.00 to shoot it!. On a serious note What is the longest distance at your club? Long waiting list for membership?

We have a 200yd range at my club however there are several of us who shoot on a farm just north of Chumuckla every now and then. We can get 600yds over there.

At my club I would have to sight the weapon in for 22.0 inches high at 100yds and 42.0 inches high at 200yds in order for it to be zero at 1000yds. The bullet would rise to 75.5 inches above the line of the scope at the highest point and be zero at 1000yds. Best I have ever done is a 8.87" group at 1000yds. The worlds record used to be a little over 3 inches. This gun will shoot MOA at about 750yds. I have killed yotes with it at that range(missed some also).

The waiting list at my club is about 2 years long. You have to be recommended(sponsored) by another member also. --- SAWMAN
    OBTW...this gun will launch a 220gr bullet 200fps FASTER than a 338Lapua Mag.

For someone that reloads this would be a fine rifle... $1.50-$2.00 per round is very impressive.....

I sure wish you would sell this thing. I look at it every time someone posts something on it. They are great guns. I have one like it in 340. I would like to have it, but can't find a use for it. I have plenty of those already. Good luck with the sale.
