Torn between a usp tactical in 9 and the fn 509 tactical.

need a 9mm in the house and already have a usp expert in 45, any input on the 2 from any owners with them?

I love my FN 509 (non-tactical) but the only difference I can find between the 2 FNs are optic ready and threaded barrel. If you buy the non-tactical get the slide milled, you'll save about $400. I know a guy selling his FN 509

I don't own a usp. But it has to have a better trigger than the fn-509t. Everything else about the pistol is near perfect. But for a pistol that expensive, it has a horrible trigger. The Vp-9 has a great trigger, but I don't care for the groove in the trigger guard (minor gripe) and the euro mag release is OK. But I prefer a standard button.

The usp is world renowned for its exceptionally horrible trigger.

Probably gonna bring the heat with this one... Glock G34. The USPs are great but DA trigger pull accounts for about a 60% first shot miss rate. Thats a number directly from the former range master in Hollywood FL. HPD issues USP 45s. I've had several FN pistols over the years and never kept 1. Just my .02...
