    I’ll bet a lot of folks had to change their skivies once the plane landed...just sayin’. Hope they also went out and bought a lotto ticket...

    From the vibrations you can tell the compressor turbines or power turbines took a hit. Could have sucked something in, turbine blade cracked and broke or a shaft bearing failure. Its like a snowball creating an avalanche as each broken piece tears up the turbines behind it until all the loose stuff exit the rear. Didn't see shrapnel holes on cabin side. When the power turbine cases blew is what probably shredded the engine cowling.

    Great flight crew, good jet: got them down safely. Well done!
