I have seen and handled both of these guns. Beautiful weapons.
Both great chamberings also. There is no other gun like a Ruger #1. I have owned a few of them. They have all been great shooters. Handle one, cycle one, super actions.
Best of luck with the sale of these beautiful weapons Joel. --- SAWMAN

Hunted woodchucks in Maine for a couple years with a buddy that shot a 25-05 #1V. He had a older Redfield on it in 6-18X or something similar.
He loaded a Hornady 90gr bullet and killed chucks waaaaay out there. We took head shots ONLY if they were <200yds.
These are sweet shooting guns folks. With one of the strongest actions made. And a little known fact. You can set these guns to extract only or extract AND eject.
GREAT PRICES HERE. IMO should be a K. --- SAWMAN

The 22-250 is off the market, pending inspection and possible purchase tomorrow, 11/17/20. I'll modify this message after inspection has taken place.

I had never even considered a 22-250, much less in a Ruger No 1, until my neighbor offered to let me try his. Needless to say, it now lives in my gun safe after making him an offer he couldn't resist. Whomever bought this one will be getting a singularly enjoyable firearm that will be the source of many smiles in the shooting sessions to come.

I was seriously considering adding the .25-06 to my inventory after doing some research on the chambering but in today's market I can't find any ammo available anywhere. I am still considering buying and just waiting on the ammo situation to improve..beautiful rifles.

You need to reload for that gun. Great choice of bullets. Tons of different powders available. Brass everywhere or you can easily neck down 30-06 or 270Win. Bullets from about 75gr to 120gr. And it will shoot 'em fast. Great choice of bullet design also. --- SAWMAN

I used Norma match for my 25-06....I had a new never shot Num. 1 Stainless with 26 inch barrel punched out for 257 Weatherby.....with a harmonic balancer that made it shoot 1/2 inch groups @ 300 yds...fantastic what you can do with those Ruger No.1's...

I have lots of bullets, IMR4350, H4350, 270 brass, 20 loaded rounds w/115 gr Berger & 45 gr H4350, and dies. Buy the gun, and you can buy the stuff you need to shoot the gun too.
