Feds did not have jurisdiction on Riots in States and cities. He took action to protect Fed buildings and statues which were under his authority. He expedited the continued expansion of the XL pipline, built/upgrade the Wall and had to walk around Congress to do it, forced Mexico and South American countries to stop Immigrant caravans, made asylum seekers wait outside the U.S. and augmented the Border Patrol with Military support & logistics. Look at the Supreme Court and Federal Judges. Got us out of the climate change, Iran deal and WHO worthless agreements, made NATO countries pay their overdue share of the burden. He got people released from prisons in shithole countries. Killed a bunch of terrorists leaders/key players. Kept Iran in the penalty box, kept North Korea in check, was beating China into a better trade deal till business as usual stopped for covid and pressed China as covid source, their cover up and failure to make timely disclosures while letting their people and exposed travelers spread that shit all over the globe. He called out the left/dems/weak republicans. Reinvigorated American pride, cut B.S. Regs and red tape so industry could grow/expand, grew the economy, forced companies to come bact into the U.S. or face high tariffs, Jobs skyrocketed, unimployment dropped to record lows. Too bad a lot of this was EOs because Congress wouldn't support him, that means TRUMP got it done without them and all the while fighting fake news and a three year impeachment.

Its, really sad how soon its all forgotten.

I really never liked Trump. But do I have to snuggle up to a persons personality in order to vote for them. ESPECIALLY given the other candidate.
I feel that Trump did more for this country than any other president in my lifetime. Including Regan. When he was making America great again why were so many fixated on his personality ??
When you ask some people why they hated Trump so much most cannot come up with a single valid reason that is not a personality issue.
WR is absolutely right in his above. I consider that he accomplished quite a bit considering the opposition from the Dems, the Repubs, the media, constant impeachments, the Mueller investigation, etc, etc. --- SAWMAN

I agree with both of the above post, he is arrogant and hard to like as a person. But he was a pretty good president. I’d vote for him again in the same set of circumstances.

Trump never promised a Rose Garden, just promised he would make America great again, fix broke shit. He delivered and raised Americans up equally, every Citizen could have grabbed on and improved their lot in life. Now its getting torn down down and being redistributed to all the "special divisions" of the far left and dems who only want to fill the coffers of financially irresponsible shithole States, Cities, programs and pet projects here and abroad while specifically excluding other Americans. Is he a Bull in a china shop? Yes, he called things as he saw them, screw their little feelers, he got things done and other than the BFD Ban, I had absolutely no problems with everything else he did.

Id rather someone new. Trump did succeed in bringing all the slimy swamp dwellers to the surface for all to see though im not sure he isn't one himself. I know he wasn't all bad but there was a lot of monitoring the situation and no action taken. Ill pass on more platinum deals and millions more of "beautiful legal immigrants". He fell right in line with the anti white nationalist propaganda. Looking back I didn't feel like I was winning with Trump as president any more than Bush or Clinton, it was just 4 years of a lot of shit talking from Trump. It seemed like he always said the right things and made the right promises but almost always just fell short of doing anything substantial.

Carl, if you would be so good as too maybe explain the underlined and bold sentence in your post please sir.
Because I do agree Trump was excellent at selling lines of BS and not actually delivering anything, but I’m just wondering exactly what you meant by that comment.

Some of our far left politicians, with the help of the media and tech giants, have created this "far right white nationalist" boogeyman image to play politics with. Trump mentioned these groups plenty last year, in the midst of nationwide race riots and covid - still this phantom boogeyman "white supremacy" is so damn important that it MUST be addressed ..

    Thank you for clarifying.

unfortunately, from my perspective, it seems there are plenty of far right and far left extremists. They were, I thought, fringe elements that for some damn reason seemed to take center stage through trumps presidency. But now they’re becoming mainstream. What actually scares me is the parallels between our current climates and post WW1 Germany, when fascists and communists literally fought in the streets until enough people got behind one or the other and put a dictator in charge. Just look at the last election, and the extreme views that overtook the two major parties. And the losers were center moderates, from both the red and blue teams.
a whole lot of us, I’d say the vast majority, were dissatisfied one way or another about a number of issues, including policing/immigration/health care/economy.
now it’s been decided that the only options we have are the far extremes in either case.

I thought I hated 2012, when the candidates were so much of the damned same it get like it wasn’t worth going to the ballots. Now, everyone is frothing at the mouth because it’s a battle between socialism and fascism. What I really really fear, is the in the next couple of cycles the candidates will be Franco and Lenin.
