This is a Thomson Center 50cal Hawken.
The stock and brass have been refinished and the barrel was rebored by Bob Hoyt. It was originally a 45 cal and the original barrel was recorded and reamed to a 50 caliber with a 1-28 twist for sabots and conical.
It has never been shot out of the fresh barrel.
The bluing is not perfect but this rifle is a great way to get a Thomson center hawken and not have a rotted out barrel.
