Ment to ask, what's with the mag?? Dosent use gi mags?
For fun I stuck the double drum mag on the RDB. It doesn't like it at all.
STANAG mags but beyond that I'm sure there are persnickity details.

Standard model uses proprietary AUG mags. Steyr, Magpul, and I think AC Unity all make them. Steyr also offers the NATO model rifle that takes STANAG mags, but you lose bolt release feature.

Yes, you can either have a AUG with AUG only mags (but other companies make them took PMAG has AUG mags) or you get get a NATO model which takes GI Mags.

You lose the bolt release on the NATO model and have to run the Charging handle to drop the bolt.

Sorry, dupe - lol. You can also buy the 'other' AUG stock assemble and change it out if you want (ie, make a proprietary mag model a NATO and vice versa).

The ATF’s brace ruling was the deciding factor (read: excuse) for me. Always wanted one.
Yeah, thought about that excuse as well. But so far I've held off. ;)
