I haven't seen any e form stamps out for folks in FL (Al Lamberger) yet. I'm cautiously optimistic. So far people in TX (Sara Jones), LA and IN have gotten their per that ARFCOM thread.
There is a long thread on ARF.
Even some guys got approvals on Christmas Eve.
Still going strong on the 3 month turn around.
I really think I made a mistake on mine, but if the 3 months is true, it should be back this week or next.
The password requirements are tricky. People had a lot of issues registering due to this.
12 character length
One number
Upper and lowercase letter
One special character such as @ or #
When registering you register as a legal entity and claim yourself as the representative of your trust or llc. One common mistake is forgetting to add your title in your name description so it shows up as John Smith, Trustee. The only other part that people have issues with is the part regarding submission. After payment you may have to re-hit the submit button. If your successful you will get an email saying its good. Also one item per form, aparently the system accidentally allows multiple items per form. When its approved you will get a pdf copy of the approved form, no mailed stamp. If disapproved the ATF hasn't allowed any changes due to the way the system is set up so you have to re-submit and start all over. However, several have reported that the program manager Gary Schaible is allowing people to call in and make edits after disapprove and keep their place in line. Since this is still new to ATF this is all subject to change.
I submitted on 09/30 for a form 1 and form 4 so I'm hoping around the first week of Jan.
The eform newsletter does a better job of explaining this, but I can't seem to find a linkable copy.
I spoke with the ATF yesterday about a trust done the old fashion way. Submitted in March, it went Pending May 27, and is expected to be done in Feb. There was an error, but this long???
