“”US$2 billion over ten years to boost democracy and good governance in sub-Saharan Africa. The funds will be invested under the Global Fragility Act, which aims to foster peace, resilience, and inclusiveness in “places where conditions are ripe for conflict.””

Can we strengthen democracy in the US first? Thanks. We got hungry kids in schools, homeless vets, old folks that needs to be taken care of.. etc.

Well, we learned nothing from europe's involvement and withdrawl from the middle east, so why bother considering the african experience also went the same way?

Somebody in our government is getting paid. Take that to the bank.
CIA... also known in Africa at the Egyptian Arab Spring democracy rally as: Al - Qae - Da. They are one and the same ever since the Mujahideen were bought and paid for by the CIA in the Soviet-Afghan War. Anything concerning "American democracy" anywhere else other than America has the CIA written all over it

It’s easier for our government representatives to skim a little off the top when that money is sent overseas for some diplomatic BS.
Same thing with Ukraine. All the millions and billions of dollars we sent to the Ukraine there was a news story last week or so that something like 70% of it was being "wasted". I screamed "horse sh--" at the top of my lungs! That 70% went to the CIA and their buddies and the "private security contractors"
