Definitely a great story. Even though I'm a Ford Mustang guy, you gotta give some respect to the Dodge Hemi. I've been trying to restore a 67 Mustang convertible, but I'm no good with frame rebuilds. Does anyone here know who can do a Mustang rebuild?

Unfortunately our local Pensacola mustang specialist Mike Evers was killed last year. I have a few local classic car shops that I would advise you to steer clear of, but none that I recommend. I’ve got a ‘68 mustang convertible that needs some work too, but it’s still driver quality, so I’ve held off on a full restoration until I find a shop that I trust and can afford, lol

Great story…nothing like the feel of an old muscle car. Slow by today’s standards but actually driving a car is so much different than just being “in” a car. And you could tell them apart in those days.

My son and his friends are all motorheads....one kid ask me if my mustang, once I get her fixed up could she compete against his WRX. I laughed and said, once I hit Lotto and get a 289 Hi-Pro with a bigger rear I would take him up on it....but don't blame me if a rock hits his paper mache body and the car gets ripped apart...lol
