From what I read it may be an 85 or a 605 model.

Looks like a model 85, are there numbers stamped in the yoke area? Swing open the cylinder and look near the frame, seems like my 85 ultralight is marked there but will have to look when I get home.
Pretty sure you have a Model 85 from the 80's-90's era. The screw on the right side near the rear sight was dropped later on. The 605 is the 357 magnum version. Very pretty gun!

Thanks guys. Don't know my revolvers and older ones even less. Seems to be a desired model now that I've started digging. Looks like they don't make the "bright" version as Taurus calls it any longer. It feels really good in the hand. I have an older blued Rossi that's similar in grip shape, but it's not a very accurate gun. Taurus is a way better piece. Dad gave it to me so have to hang onto it(the Rossi)
