I own one of the first generation 24/7 Pro 9mm pistols, and I love it. Only problem I had was that the recoil spring assembly failed on mine, but I had bought the gun used. Called Taurus and got two replacements (just in case) for about $4 each. Functions fine, excellent trigger, and extremely accurate. I wouldn't mind having a second one to be honest.
Thank you very much for the info. I'm looking at the SLIM 709. Found it for around 299 and thought that was a good deal. Compared it to several other brands and seemed pretty comparable. Thank you again.
Really appreciate the info CViewGarand. I know the Milton Police Department use to us Taurus 38 guns years ago, and the were very accurate. I'm looking at the 9mm SLIM 709 so I'm hoping it will be a good choice for the price. Thanks again.
No problem. Taurus guns as of late have been more or less a decent bang for the buck. Nice part is, if you have a couple of problems with it, Taurus' have lifetime warranties on 'em!
I've owned 2. First one was a PT-111. It was crap. Went back to Taurus twice for repair. I ended up selling it to fund a Glock 26.
I still have an 850 in 38. It is great, have had no problems with it. But I will never buy another Taurus auto
