With out a tax stamp these are not "legal" to own or mount on a weapon, correct ?

sparrow is 1/2x28.

MG7 has a direct thread 5/8x24 installed but can be swapped for a different thread pattern or other QD mount with the 1.375x24 pattern that has become the unofficial standard.

You need a paid and approved stamp to own.

Any value/use/ noise reduction on putting that Sparrow on 5 inch or 16 inch 22 mag?? (Standard vel)

Can't do anything about the supersonic crack but you'll definitely notice the sound reduction. As the shooter you'll probably get a little port noise from the rifle when it cycles but still much quieter than without.

If your scout is threaded 5/8x24 it will fit. The Vox and MG allow for different threads/ mounts.
