Come March my attire switches to shorts, an untucked polo, and JC Cruisers. It appears to me that most folks like the Glock 9mm family for CCW. But I'm not sold on 9mm Glocks with barrels shorter than 5 inches. I'm a big bore believer, so could I get some input from folks armed with the Glock 36 in .45ACP. If I'm going to switch to a subcompact and sacrifice caliber, concealability (tiny) probably rules out. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

That's pretty much my daily wear on the other side of the state.
If I'm going into the City, it's three guns...
2 Star M45 subcompacts w/ safety/decocker in Thunderwear deep conceal holster,
and my Grendel P-10 in one front pocket. Keys & S&W folding knife in the other front pocket.
three spare 10-rd Star mags in the cargo pocket...
Best thing is, cargo shorts & a Hawaiian/Polo shirt covers everything.

Why three guns? Why not? Chances are threats in cities are going to be multiple...
might as well be well-armed...surprisingly so.
Getcha to the car, break out the shotgun & clear any remaining crowd with buckshot.
If you can't escape at that point, at least you took a few dozen with you.

I was born screaming & covered in blood, got no problem going out that way...
but I'm gonna make sure that anyone attacking me is coming with,
and taking their closest 20+ friends with 'em.

I may be getting slightly cranky and intolerant in my old age....ya think?

I'm not sure why you think your cranky and intolerant, I thought that was effective negotiations from jump street!
