So I've had the Ole 88 for many years and she always get left in the Safe so I decided to give her a make over you will see in the pictures she was a base line model 88.
I started off by removing her super long smooth bore barrel and with the help of the ole interweb found out remington 870 breacher barrel can be made to fit the ole 88 I then added a pistol grip and a Adaptive Tactical magazine and forward grip and rip slide and a custom fitted Remington heat Shield once I got her done ( 9 months later ) I decided to give her a name looking her over I thought she looked like a power tool so that was it and the DeWalt Door Buster 5000 was born im waiting now for my decals to arrive to finish her completely hope yall like it.

Looks nice. That magazine will need a battery decal. Maybe some kind of “power meter” corresponding to how many shells it will hold.
Peg-board display stand with appropriate hooks to store it on.
Maybe a gutted battery-charger converted to store 12ga ammo...

How long is the breacher barrel and what does it take to adapt it to a Mossberg?

I had a video of us blowing a door Handle and lock assembly to pieces but lost it in my old phone it worked awesome
Oh, no doubt. My 870 is set up for rejecting/repelling unwanted guests. I explored/thought quite a while about a bayonet mount/bayonet, but just didn't care for the added length. In the end, my logic was, if I burnt all loaded/readily-available ammo, I figured a poke, or two, with that breaching attachment, would distract the unwanted long enough for the buttstock to come around and deliver the obvious message by other means.

This is another interesting muzzle device for an 870. For those that know, the Remington 870 MCS is rare and even parts are almost impossible to find. CDNN has the MCS breacher/brake for a great price. It’s 3.5” long and would be cool to permanently attach it to a short barrel to bring it to legal length..

Does that classify it as a SBS?

If the barrel was 17” overall, then yes. However, it’s most likely 17” of barrel but closer to 18.5” overall barrel length with the permanently attached stand-off breacher device at the end.
