For sale is an old smith revolver. It shoots .45acp, so I think that makes it a pre-model 25. It has a finish that is either stainless, or plated chrome that has worn. Some parts have a gold finish (cylinder push, hammer, trigger). I bought it in a collection of revolvers, many of which will appear on these classifieds. I have not shot it myself but mechanical function appears normal. The finish shows wear consistent with its age. Comes with Smith and Wesson grips, although I suspect the grips are newer than the gun. It will come in a collectible smith and wesson wooden box, although the gun did not come in this originally. I am happy to entertain questions and price is slightly negotiable. I am ready to show at my place of business (not FFL) in Bonifay, FL, with 1 day notice. I am willing to travel to meet when I have time.

Can I get a picture of the other side please sir
I will try to grab one this evening when I get home from work. Also FYI another user pointed out that it looks like a refinished 1917. I am going to update the listing accordingly.

Does it use moon clips or are the cylinders cut to headspace the round?

Here's some additional pictures trying to show both 45 colt and 45 acp in the cylinder. The fully loaded cylinder is showcased with a moon clip.

It looks like it can do both, but rounds are hard to get out without the moon clips. I have not test fired this weapon to verify that the firing pin will contact without moon clips.
