I’m thinking about trying out single stack division. Here is the questions 9mm or 45? I have one 1911 style pistol now, but it is a light weight 4.25” 45 gun. Not great for shooting a lot of rounds at a time. Everything else I have (that’s not a revolver) is 9mm. Interested to hear your thoughts.

With the .45 you only get 8 rounds but they score higher for hits. With the 9 you get 10 rounds but hits score less than the .45's. Since you sound like you have more experience with 9mm I would start there. If you're not competitive enough with the 9mm the some practice with the .45 may determine if you make the switch. JMHO. YMMV.
