I recently purchased a P365x and later ended up with a extra P365x slide in a trade. The slide from the purchased P365x has optics cut and co-witness sights and the trade slide has optics cut but no room for sights to be installed similar to the XL with optics cut. What is the story here? We are on a search for knowledge. Thanks ahead of time.

The bottom slide is the newer version. Sig is transitioning to include the rear sight on their new p365s including the p365xl. Most folks like an actual rear sight to have a real co-witness.

Thank you for the info. I'm still trying to figure out if I like the red dot, or in this case green dot. Guess its just what your used to. I'll keep practicing. I still think that iron sights are the way to go for up close and personal. Thanks again.

Just remember that .. remain "threat focused" while using the red/green dot. Don't try to "look" for the dot, you'll never find it. Just focus on the threat (target) and bring the gun up.. the dot should be there.
