Wow, we must really be bored, putting bullets in a case backwards to see what they'll do?

WELL . . ? . . I like to experiment/tinker also. If my results are good or bad I don't typically post them. (Right JJ) --- SAWMAN

Here is it being down backwards on the ammo channel. It raises pressures. Was tried in war with the thought of better penetration on armor and may prevent the bullets from deflecting off of the armor of WWI

Some of the Cutting Edge Raptor's are advertised by the company to be shot backwards for penetration.
I have some in .308" but never tried it.
You can also easily remove and replace the poly tip. In fact, they come with the poly tip seperate, not installed. Never tried this option either. ---- SAWMAN

i would be curious as to load density and making compressed loads out of loads that normally wouldn't be and increasing the pressure since the combustion chamber became so much smaller rapidly
