    They really don’t taste that good.
    Actually, they don't have a very strong flavor at all, they will take on the flavor of whatever seasonings that you put on them. One really important thing is to gut them and ice them down immediately after catching them so that the meat doesn't get tainted when they die and release their urine int the meat. I've been eating them since the 70's, but then I like king mackerel and mullet also.
