Shadow 2 mag release legal on SP01?

The shadow 2 mag release fits the SP01. Since it is a factory part, is it legal on the SP01 for IDPA ESP and Carry Optics?

You can modify your gun how you want in IDPA ESP/Co if it meets the width, height, length, and weight. There are some exceptions, compensator, comp barrels, and a few other things. It doesn't need to be factory parts.

Russ, a different mag release can be used as long as it does not stick out more than .2 inches from the gun

Thanks. I thought that was the rule but I didn’t initially find it. I was looking in the division rules not at the top.
