The measure also creates penalties for straw purchases of firearms, requires more gun sellers to register as Federally Licensed Firearm Dealers and closes the so-called boyfriend loophole by prohibiting gun access for people convicted of domestic abuse against an intimate partner.

What stands out is you can no longer buy your child a gun like I just did for my son who is in the USAF. Also, I'm worried that if I decide to sell a gun on this site, I'll need to apply for an FFL. This is scary stuff that these RINO's moved this out of committee.

Very limited enforceability without confessions and surveillance. And even if we all try real hard to follow the letter of the law, it's impossible to follow every single gun control law, especially if this is passed. It's called entrapment and it's on purpose. It's "you" control, not "gun" control. You are the weapon they are afraid of, not the inanimate object you hold, and you always will be no matter what is in your possession. They only have power over you because you let them have power over you... until one day you wake up and realize that you no longer have the ability to withdraw that power, and that you're a slave

Yeah, they voted after having about one hour and twenty minutes to review it. If that doesn't plainly show you what the real agenda is, your are simply not capable of understanding.

I'm in the no concessions faction. No more infringements. Time to start repealing. Will not support/vote for anyone that supports this. Ever. As if voting even matters at this point...

Lotta truth in that, and pretty much how I lean. The regime advances/preserves/rewards itself regardless of votes. No lasting/significant change will come from voting. They know that, and "we" refuse to believe it.

Many US states are much larger and much much more prosperous than many European states, also known as European COUNTRIES. A state is a stand alone country in the international definition of the word STATE. We don't need the Feds. They're nice to keep around, but they're not needed. Think of all the money we'd get to keep, too, every paycheck. There would be no need for Social Security or other social welfare. Families could take care of their own. Many US police forces are bigger and better equipped than many foreign militaries. The cash cow that is America is worth fighting over. The power is worth fighting over. It was called the French and Indian War, the Revolution War, the War Against Northern Aggression, the War of 1812, the Spanish American War, the Mormon War, the Miner War (WW1 vets against the union bosses backed by the post WW1 Feds artillery and air superiority... the largest land battle on American soil, forbidden to talk about, stricken from the history books). When did Americans lose their balls to fight for control of the land they stand on? They didn't. The same historically 3% willing and able to stand up and do something to keep what's theirs are still around, but now the Feds are so powerful there's no chance except through legal legitimate legislation. Gotta put it to a vote.
