I bought a Monstrum. Point of impact would move when the magnification was changed. Returned it for replacement and the second scope was exactly the same. They gave me a refund and paid all the shipping costs. Customer service was excellent, product, not so good.

The scopes you mention are garbage. So is redfield.
Save a little longer and get something worth it.
Budget vortices at the VERY minimum, that way they’ll replace it when it breaks.

My research shows that all Redfield's, except 1 model is made in Asia. The Revolution model is made by Leupold in their factory in Oregon.

All Vortex scopes are designed in the US. They are made in the US, Japan, China and The Philippines. Appears that the Strike Eagle model is made in China. Not sure on the rest of their models.

A quick search shows (unless it's changed)... Japan, Philippines, and China... in order of quality.

I've been able to source several LNIB Leupold MK IV's 1.5-5 with mounts in the $750 range. I've got them from the EE off ARFCOM and eBay. Of course, use caution when buying. That's only a couple hundred more than the "budget" choices but a hell of a lot more scope IMO.

The lowest end Vortex I'd pay my hard earned $$$ on is the Viper PST line.

Take a look at riton. I'm fortunate enough to be be able to use and sell many different optics and I can say that without a doubt they offer the best quality for the $.
Tracking, return to zero, clarity, and adjustments are spot on. Extremely positive Turret adjustments. I have quite a few here that you can check out. I'm in Mary Esther 2 miles east of Hurlburt Field.
