Man if I ever hit the lotto... $4000 is dirt cheap for a .338 lapua, the problem is you have to feed it... $600 worth of ammo is what 120 rounds??? This is a great buy!

I'm sure I will catch it for this, but, you were standing a few yards away from a jug someone was shooting at from 500 yards away?

Someone buy this before I have to file for divorce.... I have no problem with him standing by the target nor do I care if he is wearing ear plugs.... It's his ass not mine...

Are these rifles good for exploding varmits? I can't imagine anything left to eat once a targeted animal was hit with a round from this shoulder fired artillary piece.

and your point is? i'm behind a sand bank and zoomed in, and yes if need be i trust my son and weapon enough to stand next to the target. Just for the sake of this video my son didn't want ear plugs, you know how teenagers want to look cool.Anyway not on here to argue back and forth, cheers

I would say that this is a well established round. Gophers don't stand a chance out to 2700 yards IF you have the mechanics, technology and skill needed to send one that far.....
Holding the record for the longest confirmed kill in wartime in history ain't nothing to sneeze at.....
