Love my 10/22s. I have a 1969 model (no mods) that I bought in 1971 and a new what they call "Tactical" model which just means it's all black with a threaded barrel and flash suppressor. I did get a Brimstone Tier 1 trigger job on the Tactical. My grand kids love them too. Get 2 or 3 grand kids around on a long weekend and they will kill a brick of ammo.

I also love my 10/22's I have went a little overboard here lately with them. That being said I would have loved to have traded you a tactical black composite stock before you put the holes in that wooden one....

Yeah I thought about getting a black one but I just like the wood one for some reason. gives a classic look with a twist.

It is a blast to modify these guns. I have also gone way overboard lately. I went with an ATI Stikeforce, and the only problem I have had is with the Ruger 25 round mags feeding properly. I did a little filing on the lip, and hopefully that will help.
