RPGi is running a tactical 2-Gun match out at Element Training Complex (Formerly known as Southern Tactical Range) June 12-13th 2021. The match will have Saturday and Sunday Squads, ending on Sunday at 4pm with an awards ceremony and social mixer. This match will be the most challenging event in 2021. We have CQB stages planned, intermediate range target engagements (out to 400yds) and stress scenarios developed by USSOF personnel. There will be five stages executed all over the range. We recommend signing up early and planning your training for the match accordingly.
Shooters will have 3 divisions to choose from:
Full Kit: Body Armor and Helmet
Kit Minus: Body Armor
Slick: No body armor or helmet
Shooters will be required to shoot rifle and pistol on every stage. It is highly recommended that shooters bring a good pistol holster (no rifle slings required). Everyone can change out firearms between stages as needed without the Match Director's permission.
Example: Shooter shoots one of the CQB stages with a Red Dot Rifle and iron sight pistol. Shooter then arrives to his/her second stage and realizes that they would benefit from shooting a magnified optic (shooter can use another rifle or upper receiver if desired). If the shooter identifies a stage that they can use a .22LR rifle platform, then they can elect to use that rifle in the course of fire. Bottom line you will have the flexibility to take down each stage as you see fit. **Every target will be able to be successfully engaged with a red dot rifle (but definitely not .22LR or PCC).
Awards: There are great sponsors at this match. Each division winner will go home with a custom trophy and a substantial prize. We are raffling the remaining prizes (which will be a lot) to our shooters on Sunday afternoon.
