Shooter Ready?
Come out and join the RPGi crew for fast-paced steel only shooting at Southern Tactical Range on November 1st! Registration begins at 8:30 am, and shooters meeting starts at 9:30 am sharp at the Blue Zone Pavilion. The RPGi Combat Steel Match is a 6-stage pistol caliber, 22lr, and shotgun (lead pellet birdshot) only match with short duration stages (20-30 seconds average) that incorporates barrier shooting, negotiating obstacles, CQB, run and gun scenarios on steel targets only. The match will be held at Southern Tactical Range. This match is extremely fast to execute (4-5 hours) and is ultimately inclusive to all shooters with various calibers (.22 pistols welcome!!!). Stage timeouts will be 120 seconds, and the minimum round count for each stage won’t exceed 30 rounds. Shooters can only use handguns, PCC, 22 rimfire, or 12ga Shotgun (lead birdshot). The match will follow the time plus scoring format. All steel is reactive and must knockdown/knock over to count (unless shooting .22, then RO will call hit for reactive steel). And of course, any shooter who wears body armor vests during specific stages will receive a 10-second bonus. See you guys on the range!
