Still trying to figure out how to build a blast shield for the cylinder. Maybe a rail mount of some kind above it. Searched the internet no luck.

Get yourself a black plastic funnel like for oil and stuff and slip it over the barrel all the way up against the frame. You might could even cut the funnel above the revolver top strap and drill some eyelets and lace it down tighter with black zip ties, so as not to obstruct the sights

That's not too bad of an idea. Some tweeking and it may work. Tks.

Vance Outdoors, had the Heritage pistols for $69 a few months back, I started to buy one of the BarKeeps, wish I had now. Several different barrel lengths were available, all priced at $69. I’m on their mailing list since I’ve bought from them in the past.
