This is a preliminary range report on two of my newest .45 ACP 1911's. I say preliminary because neither has been fully broken in. The SDS (Tisas) Duty has ~ 150 rounds fired and the RIA Tactical II has exactly 50 rounds fired (this was my first time firing it). I fired 50 rounds from each gun, mainly to set the sights, and both performed flawlessly. The SDS had fixed sights, so I installed a set of LPA adjustable FO sights on it. The RIA came with adjustable sights. Both were close and required little adjustment. The targets below were the last 8- shot group I fired at 10 yards from each gun-SDS on the left and the RIA on the right. Top is the SDS and bottom is the RIA.

Nice! Like to have an RIA officer model myself. Some people say they are really a Colt at a better price tag, since the tools and machinery are old Colt models, and the techs were all trained by Colt with some being former Colt employees who stayed. Not sure if that is exactly true but seems plausible.
